There is nothing sexy or beautiful about flat and limp hair. Therefore, every woman aspires to have voluminous hair that has body and shape to it. If you think it is impossible with your own “glam squad” making it happen, well now you can. We’re giving you an inside scoop on how celebrity hairstylists get their client the hair that is giving us all major #hairgoals envy!
While some hair care experts might advise against roughly, it does have some upsides to it: voluminous hair. Towels are often made of thick and textured fabric. When this fabric comes into contact with your hair strands, it creates a rough texture on the strands. While it is not recommended that you attack your hair with a towel every after bath, you should do this when you want to prep your hair for a voluminous hairstyle.
This should be obvious, right? Unfortunately, a lot of women neglect the fact that there are styling products designed primarily to create voluminous hair. When checking out a styling range, choose ones that are specifically named “volumising“.
The roots are integral to creating voluminous hair. If you want volume, you have to boost the root lift. When roots stay close to your scalp, it looks limp and flat. If your roots are naturally limp, give it a boost with a volumising mousse. This product is designed to lift the hair strands off the roots as you are styling with a hair dryer and also locks in the shape. Hence, not only can you achieve a root lift but it is also helpful in keeping it that way.
You can also create the illusion of voluminous hair when you opt for layers. Layers on your hair create the illusion of having more depth and dimension to it; plus, the layers create more movement into each strand. This will make your hair appear voluminous. Hey, if you can’t make it, then better fake it!

Another tried and tested but super easy trick to achieve voluminous hair? Change your part! When you have had your part for a while now, your hair will have a natural tendency to fall flat. It’s how gravity works! BUt when you change up the part, the roots are not settled to your scalp yet so it will have a bit of body to it!
If you want long-lasting volume and curls, you can go the old-fashioned route: hair rollers. Don’t forget to spritz some hairspray onto your strands once you’ve locked them into rollers. This will help to set the volume and body of your hair strands.
